Hitting a baseball or softball is one of the most difficult things to do in sports. It gets more difficult with each level a player achieves. The only way to become a consistent hitter is to learn the proper fundamentals of a swing, then work on those fundamentals consistently until they become muscle memory. We believe there are 4 fundamentals every player must master to become a consistent and dangerous hitter. Fee load, hands and head. These fundamentals are built through hitting drills like dry cuts, T work, front toss, and of course live at bats.

TFA’s coaches will work with each hitter to help them achieve a strong understanding of these keys once mastered when the ball is on the way the player will no longer have to think about them just React and crush balls.

Pitching is by far the most technical skill on the diamond. Done properly, nothing compares. Done improperly, injuries can occur.

Thus, pitchers must work harder than anyone on the team for pitchers to be successful throwing more. Strikes, walking fewer batters and getting those outs. They need a foundation of basic mechanics which can easily be repeated.

TFA’s coaches will work with each pitcher to help them understand their balance point, how the hands and legs move together, the proper load, shoulder separation and rotational power needed to help them develop the lower body drive for success.

The mental approach for diamond sports is one of the most overlooked aspects of the game, yet it is crucial for success. Without the right mental approach, a player cannot perform at their best that’s why a lot of athletes find themselves. Doing well in practice but not games.

The correct mental approach is proven to increase confidence, improve focus, improve motivation while having a calming effect and increasing resilience when things do not go as planned. The team at TFA will help your player understand the art of self-talk, visualization, the importance of breathing, and how to set goals.

Let TFA help your player uncover the mental game challenges that are holding them back, how to deal with those challenges, and how to succeed.
